Made in France by our teams at our laboratory in Patay (45310), this solid soap is formulated using quality plant-based active ingredients and a saponifying clay that is unique in the world: ghassoul. What is ghassoul?
You're probably wondering what ghassoul is. Also known as "rhassoul", which means "washing earth" in Arabic, ghassoul is a clay that originates from North Africa, and more specifically from the Atlas Mountains in Morocco. It has a long history of use in skin care and beauty rituals in North African and Middle Eastern cultures. Ghassoul is a clay renowned for caring for the body, hair and face. Rich in minerals such as magnesium, iron, sodium, zinc, phosphorus and potassium, it is a 100% natural product!
How is our solid soap made?
Our solid soap is made the old-fashioned way, using a cold saponification process that preserves all the properties of the selected plant oils and butters. This method is designed to create soaps that are gentle on your skin. What's more, by choosing a solid soap, you're helping to protect the environment by limiting plastic waste (almost all liquid soaps come in plastic bottles), and you're renewing your stock of soaps less often (on average, you only use 0.35g of solid soap to wash your hands, compared with 2.3g with a liquid soap). Made without preservatives, colouring agents or fragrances, this soap is perfect for skin that is generally sensitive, dry, fragile or irritable. It is designed to gently cleanse the skin without damaging it. Historically, ghassoul is renowned for its absorbing effect, which purifies and softens the skin in depth, reducing excess sebum, dead cells and all impurities.

Your safety is our priority, which is why our solid soap has been subjected to drying tests to guarantee the quality of the product. Often controversial, we have chosen not to add any colourings, preservatives or fragrances to our formula to make sure that our soap respects your skin.
How often should I use it?
This soap is suitable for daily use, on the body only. Our authentic ghassoul will help you take care of your skin every day! If it comes into contact with your eyes, rinse thoroughly with clean water. If symptoms appear, consult a doctor.
